about

This song was written the summer of 2010 for a dear friend and recorded in my Church sanctuary. It was directly inspired by Isaiah 40: 28-31-

"Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and His understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."

lyrics

I know, you feel weak.
And I wish, to give you strength.
But when you fall, He is with you!

I know, everyday-
We're fighting with ourselves.
And every time we win, we lose.
But have you not heard:
Our God does not sleep!

And if we trust, we shall rise,
We shall run, and not grow faint,
We can grow wings.

Listen to His voice:
"Fear not, I Am with you,
I will be, your right hand,
Speak with Me, I renew,
Your strength."
